Licensing Terms and Conditions

Software

My software is usually licensed under the following terms and conditions. You must also refer to the documents distributed with the work you're interested in to know if any components of the work are owned by other parties or are otherwise licensed differently. This license is commonly known as the  Simplified or 2-clause BSD License:

notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the
documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED BY THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND CONTRIBUTORS "AS IS"

CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF
SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS
INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN
CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE)
ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

Website

Any material on my website to which I can claim copyright is generally licensed under the terms and conditions of the  Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. The legal code for this license is too arduous to display here, but the main thrust is that any reproduction of my work that does not reside within the purview of "fair use" must be attributed to me with a link back to the original source. You must also communicate the license terms of the work to others who would view it.

Exemptions

I believe the conditions of these licenses are very lenient. Nevertheless, if there is any reason why you would not be able to fulfill your obligations as a licensee but want to use this work in good faith, you can contact me for a waiver, and we'll see if we can't work something out.
